Wyandotte, Michigan As part of the premier piloting facility in North America, the Pilot Plant Technician independently executes multiple complex tasks to maintain and run his/her assigned laboratory & pilot reactors and production reactors with little required guidance for non-routine tasks. The Technician determines testing requirements for some applications, occasionally trains others, and actively shares creative solutions with some translation between from one tasks to another. Reactors are used to support product & process development, as well as, commercial production. Technician supports all aspects of the reactors, as well as, team goals, personal safety, product quality, and operating aspects of the reactors, as well as, filling, loading, and unloading systems and their auxiliary equipment such as bins, filters, blend tanks, and utility equipment for air, nitrogen, cooling water, and steam. The Technician creates high quality finished goods and manage hazardous raw materials in a safe and efficient manner. This includes running of reactors, filters, pumps, load/unload of railcars, tank trucks, railcars, totes, drums or pails as required. Formula for Success: You Will? adhere to all BASF Safe Work practices, maintaining excellent housekeeping communicate status of operations & equipment and occasionally train others on routine tasks interface with control systems to ensure required process conditions are met safely handle and accurately measure all chemical ingredients on lab and pilot scale and production respond to emergency or abnormal condition according to established procedures support safety program through leading AIMS investigations and leading MOCs apply strong math skills, computer skills and science & technical knowledge complete lab samples, tests & shipping, and determination of testing requirements for some applications accurately document observations & data, and contribute as components to research reports review and update and write operating procedures and JSA's prepare and isolate equipment for maintenance and/or contractors and issue work permits perform repairs on several pieces of complex equipment?disassemble & maintain as required troubleshoot malfunctions and propose improvements & design changes to experts apply sound understanding of materials and SOPs to recognize conditions that effect safety, environment, and processes and consistently takes the initiative to improve it independently maintain strong work pace over time to safely work on several pieces of complex equipment knows internal business partners and external customers maintains basic lab stock, supplies and spare parts formulate with given set of ingredients and process parameters Our Pilot Plant Technicians will: work with lab notebooks, P&IDs, PFDs, PHAs, HAZOPs, Management of Change and SDS operate a fork truck lift 25 Kg, handle 55-gal drums, and work on elevated platforms safely handle hazardous materials, mutagens, carcinogens, reproductive/ fertility toxins, developmental toxins demonstrate expertise in all operation aspects in at least one technology and one process independently and safely operate process controls such as, interlocks, PLC and DCS control systems in both auto and manual HAZWOPER certified for emergency response work a rotating shift with overtime, as required Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You? Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You? Don't Be Fooled

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
