Where the Chemistry Happens???
CPL - Team Lead - Wyandotte
The Contoura Pilot Line (CPL) Team Lead is responsible for the following:
Prepare formulations according to a given recipe
Operate CPL equipment to prepare and press samples for testing
Coordinate testing protocol and/or ship prototypes to customer
Gather and report the data to Applications Engineer
Maintain proper housekeeping standards (5S)
Actively participate in BASF safety culture & programs
In addition:
Schedule CPL activities with guidance from AE to meet customer or new product development needs.
Oversee day-to-day tasks of contract employees (technicians) to meet production needs as well as safe operation of CPL.
Conduct training as required for technicians per the training program
Maintain Raw material inventory (chemicals, fibers, misc. supplies) (inventory list, physical inventory, re-order points) as necessary for safe and productive operation of CPL
Ensure samples and prototypes are delivered as required by AE
Properly manage waste
Maintain KPI related to productivity, costs, safety
Contact Maintenance as necessary for repairs/ improvements.
40-hour work week: Day Shift Mon - Fri
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Effective time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage daily activities
Preferred Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of Production and/or Material Handling Experience
Preventative Maintenance / Troubleshooting
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
